Model Driven Solutions Led Team Awarded Another Major Tasking Under GSA BPA

Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won a major task from GSA for Open Source E-Government Reference Architecture (OSERA) with and Open Source E-Government Infrastructure Services Platform (OISP). The Team has, to date, won all four bids let under the GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded a little over a year ago. Partners on this bid included Top Quadrant and Neological.

Vienna, VA, 31 August 2007 - Model Driven Solutions, a Division of Data Access Technologies, Inc., won a major task from GSA for Open Source E-Government Reference Architecture (OSERA) with and Open Source E-Government Infrastructure Services Platform (OISP). The Team has, to date, won all four bids let under the GSA Blanket Purchase Agreement awarded a little over a year ago. Partners on this bid included Top Quadrant and Neological.

Model Driven Solutions has been working with the Office of the CIO, its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for the past three years to develop the One GSA Enterprise Architecture. In its efforts to extend this architecture across all of GSA, the agency is issuing a series of Request for Quotes (RFQs) to cover GSA Enterprise Architecture activities and procurements for the next five years. This award is the fourth awarded by GSA, all to the Model Driven Solutions Team.

This Task Order is to develop an Open Source Architectural Knowledge Management Platform and populate that platform with a consistent Data and Technology Architecture. “This task takes the previous OSERA work and extends it to provide a practical management platform for one of GSA’s major assets – its Information Knowledge” said Cory Casanave, President and CEO of Model Driven Solutions and DAT. “This fourth tasking award under the BPA that is only a year and a half old is a strong vote of confidence in the work already accomplished by the Model Driven Solutions Team at GSA and bodes extremely well for its future”, continued Mr. Casanave.
