Model Driven Solutions has been working with the Office of the CIO, its Chief Technology Officer and Chief Architect for the past two years to develop the One GSA Enterprise Architecture. In its efforts to extend this architecture across all of GSA, the agency is issuing a series of Request for Quotes (RFQs) to cover GSA Enterprise Architecture activities and procurements for the next five years.  This award is the third awarded by GSA, all to the Model Driven Solutions Team.

This Task Order is to service enable the Asset Accounting functions of the Financial Management Enterprise Architecture (FMEA). This Task is a continuation of the significant work begon over a year ago in developing the FMEA. It will result in the first SOA application for a US Government Financial Line of Business. "This third award under the five year BPA extends the EA methodology and will result in the fielding of a Service Oriented solution. It is further evidence of GSA's strong acceptance of the Model Driven Solutions EA methodology and approach.", said Ed Seidewitz, Vice President, Model Driven Architecture Services for Model Driven Solutions.

“This task takes the FMEA segment of the One GSA EA and extends it to provide a complete, agile solution” said Cory Casanave, President and CEO of Model Driven Solutions and DAT.  “This third tasking award under the BPA that is only a year old is a strong vote of confidence in the work already accomplished by the Model Driven Solutions Team at GSA and bodes extremely well for its future”, continued Mr. Casanave.
